The majority of our opals come from the heart of the Quilpie region in Queensland Australia. Unearthed from the ancient ocean floors of the Australian outback, on average, each opal has been seen or handled by just two or three humans—including us—before it reaches you, ensuring its rarity, authenticity, and genuine beauty.

Our Footprint

Mining inevitably leaves a footprint, but we are committed to minimising our impact at every step. We carefully adhere to Australian mining laws, collaborate with landowners to prevent land degradation, and operate using 100% solar energy and rainwater at both our remote and city work locations. While the use of machinery and vehicles is essential for reaching the remote areas where we source our opals, we continuously strive to reduce their environmental impact and improve sustainability wherever possible.

Due to our remote locations, we are not open to the public.

2. Product Descriptions & Photos

   • Each opal is one-of-a-kind, and the photos provided are an accurate representation to the best of our ability.

   • Due to variations in lighting, screen settings, and angles, colours may appear slightly different in person. We do our best to capture the true beauty of each opal including any imperfections. .

   • Our descriptions are not technical and should not be relied upon entirely.

3. Pricing & Payments

   • All prices are listed in AUD and may change without notice.

   • We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and other secure payment methods.

4. Shipping & Delivery

   • All orders will be shipped using tracked shipping services, ensuring secure delivery. Australia Post is our preferred provider.

   • Standard insurance, as provided by the shipping carrier, is included in the service.

   • Standard insurance amounts may be less than the product value.

   • If additional insurance is required beyond the standard coverage, it will be at the buyer’s expense.

   • As a small business, we cannot guarantee same day despatch but will make every effort to expedite shipping.

   • Delivery times vary depending on location, and customs duties or taxes remain the buyer’s responsibility.

5. Returns & Refunds

   • Due to the unique nature of each opal, we only accept returns for items that arrive damaged or significantly different from the description.

   • Refunds are processed upon inspection; return shipping costs are non-refundable.

6. Liability & Warranty

   • We are not responsible for delays or damages caused by third-party shipping carriers.

   • All opals are sold "as is," with descriptions provided to the best of our ability.
